Plastic Surgery - Self improvement or just plain vainity?

I think you guys are probably wondering: why this topic? Haha before you start panicking and think if Weiling is contemplating doing an extreme makeover, hold your tongue, because that's not what I have in mind.

So what's wrong with plastic surgery? The conventional way of thinking is that a person that goes for it are vain and superficial. A religious person will condemn that vain and superficial person to be unappreciating of God's creation.

I beg to differ though. If a person was badly burnt in a wild fire accident, do you expect the person to live with the burnt, wrinkled skin for the rest of his/her life?

Outer-beauty counts, believe it or not. Otherwise, why are beauty pageants held throughout the centuries while actors and actresses possess goodlooks or are packaged to look beautiful for the audience?

I'm not saying that inner-beauty are not as important. But if the person has the face of an angel and the body of a devil, everyone will take a liking to that person on the 1st meeting.

So people will argue that we shouldn't be so shallow. We should seek to improve our personality instead of focusing so much on God's gift, our outer shell, for it is simply just an empty shell. However, please bear in mind that going for a change in your physical appearance will not change the person you are inside. Wouldn't it be wonderful if you are beautiful both inside and outside?

In fact, I think those who are against plastic surgery are the judgemental and the superficial ones. Why should you stigmatize a person based on his/her so-called fake looks? Embrace the soul that you claimed you believed to be the most important.

Alright, here comes to the crucial part of my post. Would you think I am a vain and superficial shit with low self esteeem and despise me even if I still remain the same girl inside if I go for a double eyelid surgery?

I would seriously love to have one of those pair of beautiful eyes I've adored since young. Tell me what you think yeah?

P/S: You must be thinking, "no wonder she's so supportive of plastic surgery."
