Yo! It's Saturday and I'm working now. Haven't been coming to work on Saturdays for like 3 weeks? So now this is a little...different experience for me. Mingyan is not here today to make my time pass faster because she's at the campus radio DJ training! Woo you go girl!
I decided to add this entry because I realise I haven't really post for so long (again) and I'm feeling kind of bored here. Came to work with the intention to photocopy all the documents I need to photocopy but when I reach here, I just feel like slacking infront of the PC.
I've been really busy making money. Hahaha with my IPOS work in the day and 3 tuition kids taking up 4 of my nights, I hardly have anytime to enjoy life. If I were to go out and have fun, I'd have to sacrifice my rest. Which is what I had been doing the past few weeks.
Anyway, there are actually quite a lot of stuff going on in my life. More mundane than interesting stuff so I'm not gonna post it here. Just wanted to tell you guys that I had the largest slice of cake in my 19years of life last night. Haha I went to Raffles Hotel to eat and there's this dessert called Chocolate Decadence. It's a cake with 7 layers of chocolate, berries, rum, and chocolates! Actually I'm not really sure what else is inside, could have been more stuff. But yeah anyway, Andrew and I decided to order that with a Triple Chip Brownie Sundae. The waitress gave us weird looks. When the cake came, we regretted ordering the Sundae. It wasn't that the Sundae was not nice. But the cake was simply enough to fulfill 3 hungry stomach. We even arouse attention from neighboring patrons who cast amuse glances our way when our gigantic slice of cake arrive. I was musing to Andrew about how big the actual cake might actually be.
Ahah, an outing finally for the 4 of us o'gd buddies. (me, tash, mingyan, zhenjie) After many weeks of discoordination (is there such a word?) of our personal schedule, we finally managed to find a day when we could all meet up for dinner. Yippee, we're going to have dinner at Tampines Cartel. Haha that's like the 2nd time in this week I'm having dinner there. Heard we're gonna have Cartel again with my colleagues on Monday. Great. Just the way I like it. Cartel, cartel and cartel! I might actually frequent the place as often as Elaine LOL!
Recently, I've been so busy that I'm constantly planning my time in my head. What time, I'm doing what. What time, I have to leave for what. What time I have to run those errands I need to run. Probably sneak them in between my appointments. Sounds cool but trust me, I actually glorified it. I can feel my head about to erupt with all these thoughts and worries whether I can actually accomplish them. Thankfully so far, everything had run somewhat smoothly. I swear this is not gonna stop, but get worse, when school starts. Gee, what a hectic life. My white hairs are growing! HELP ME!
You know, as I've told people, that I thought Zhenjie look like Chen Hanwei after watching the 9pm show on Channel 8 for several episodes, I began to think that Zhenjie is actually Chen Hanwei in the show and Fiona Xie, his "long lost friend." *giggles...and dodges flying knives from ZJ* But you guys gotta agree with me that her xiao ding dong personality in the show (or perhaps even in real life) strangely resembles someone we know. *winkwink*
Alright alright I'd better flee for my life before Zhenjie shakes his head to my death. CRAP! Okay I'm outta here!
