I am sooooooo excited! In 42 hours, I will be in the theatres of Cathay Cineleisure catching Harry Potter - the Goblet of Fire!

I just spent an hour reading interviews of the cast and reviews online. And it seems like the show is gonna be great. According to some, Mike Newell (director) has captured the essence of the story and the plot kept many on edge. Also the special effects were great and hopefully they managed to capture JKR's humor in it. The way they described how Ralph Fiennes captures Voldemort's character (ultimately cruel & menacing at one moment and cynically pleasant at others) makes me hold such high hopes on Wednesday.

As a reader and hence knowing the twists in the end, I am so looking forward to the show because the book was absolutely terrific. It's like everything seems like such a mystery and you don't think much of the simple things happening but they eventually turn out to be clues to a big puzzle at the end. And it's the book that mark the start of a dark twist of the entire series.

The downside though is that 2+hours was too short to capture everything so they scraped off some characters like the Dursleys (which means we won't get to see the prank the Weasley twins did on Dudley!) and Molly Weasley. But I hope they will show the ending when Dumbledore and gang tried to convince the obstinate Minister of Magic that Voldemort is indeed back. Maybe it's just me but that moment just stirred up such an intense emotion in me.

Man, I can hardly contain my excitement now! Can you tell?

Hahaha sorry for my harry potter blab every now and then but man, EVERYONE SHOULD JUST BLOODY READ THE BOOK so they can get excited with me!
