I know I promised a pictorial post, but how can I afford the luxury of time when I never reached home before 9pm and it can get as late as past midnight on a working night? And even when I do reach home before midnight, that couple of hours before bedtime is for me to laze around, watch tv and basically just daydream right?

Okay excuses excuses..i'm just being plain lazy..

Although working for 5 weeks now has sort of wore off my workaholism, I am proud to say I have learnt several things from my oh-so-lovely boss. (No sarcasm there)

We are actually having a Hokkaido at TM on the 7th - 16th July (Oh oh now I can insert pictures!)

And well we actually got many Jap chef to exhibit and sell their delicacies at our Atrium and we only managed to get this deal from Isetan coz we didn't have the contacts.

From the preparation of this event, my dear boss has taught me several valuable lessons, which essentially boils down to be from the manipulative lil bitch that I am to becoming the full-grown manipulative bitch that will help me succeed in life.

1. Remember your objectives: The reporters will be coming on Friday to do an editorial on our Hokkaido fair. Make sure they don't write a whole junk about Hokkaido food and left out the only reason why we're inviting the media: publicity for the mall.

2. Show 'em you mean business: Isetan was unwilling to give us more info about the Jap vendors when we requested for it. We managed to get the Hokkaido PM down on our own terms and my boss purposely brought him up to introduce to the Isetan boss. It says, "This is what I am capable of. Don't F around with me".

3. Don't do things for free: Prepare mineral water and candy bags for the jap vendors while they are hard at work preparing for the event. But time it right. You want to give them when they are tired, thirsty and totally grateful to you for your timely rescue. Otherwise, it's just a waste of your effort.
