Pissed Off...

Actually, I'm not exactly pissed off. But have you ever had any of those days when you're in a mad rush to go out, you forget to bring out the most important things? I guess that happens to everyone huh?

Anyway, I forgot to wear my watch and ring today. I know I'm fussing up over a tiny matter. They are not neccessities even for the watch because I can just refer to my handphone for the time. But it's just so irritating. I feel so antsy and naked without my watch. When you had something on you for so long and you just lost it, even if only for awhile, it really gets you on edge. At least, it got me on edge.

I guess that apply to the people around you too. You may not notice the significance of certain people in your life, but when one person left, you just feel so out of place and everything seems wrong.

Maybe when someone you love in your life left you, you're just feeling down because you're used to having the person around. But like a lost watch, you'll get used to having no watch around your wrist soon enough. True, it's frustrating at the initial stage, but they will go away. Perhaps, you'll get yourself another watch or perhaps, like my forgotten-to-wear-out watch, will be back on your wrist when you get home. When that happens, enjoy yourself even without your watch. Why keep thinking about the watch when you can't do anything about it as long as you're not home? You may decide to go straight home for your watch, but you'll be missing out the fun you could have outside.

My message to all, who lost their love ones, or for those that just got out of a bad relationship (like my dear friend Mingyan): all is not lost, for you'll find your watch eventually.

And a final message to myself: stop getting pissed over a watch.

Take care everyone!
