Sorry folks! This is still gonna be a word-only entry because I'm still waiting for the other models to send me the pics! Maybe I'll try to take a pic of myself later if the project meeting don't end too late tonight.

Anway, just wanna share with you guys my experience on a real runway. Hehe yes we are supposed to catwalk on a T-shaped runway on 5" high leather boots, clad in black SM-like clothings.

We reached Orchard hotel at 10 in the morning (which I personally thought was kinda redundant since we waited really long for them to set up the stage and music). Then we rehearse a few times before we had to have our face made-up. They did a nude look for me with heavy lashes (fake ones of course!) and dark dark eye-shadow. Then they straighten my hair and blow it nicely again. It looks better after it's set!

Anyway, the guest finally arrived at 7pm. While they were enjoying their cocktail outside the ballroom, we girls were having nice finger food provided by the hotel restaurant. Yummy yummy! At 8, the show began.

For my section, we were supposed to walk out with our stylists (4 altogether). The stylists started telling the audience what exactly they're doing, their inspiration and decribing the style they are trying to achieve, while at the same time, snipping off my hair! I was so worried when she was cutting since there wasn't any mirror for me to see how much she really cut. But it turned out better than before. The top up is less thick and bulky so the overall shape looks smoother and nicer. After the cut, lotsa hair was sticking to my heavily powdered face and sticky lips.

We exited the stage and the backstage crew started dusting off all the hair, then we had to do a professional catwalk down the runway again to present the final hairdo.

My most hated part of the night was the finale when we were supposed to pose there like a statue and let the guests (mostly stylists from other salons) and let them take pictures. My feet was aching madly from the boots and I was just dying to go home. But overall it wasn't that bad an experience la so maybe I was being a little too whiny last last night.

Anyway, they redyed my blond streaks to violet/purplish colour now so it looks so much better. As long as I don't think about the shortness of my back, I'm happy.
