Now that's it's finally over for projects (at least no more meeting required), I can finally blog about this wonderful sem. This is by far the best sem I have ever had in my 2yrs with SMU. There were of course the usual whining about crazy projects and rushing deadlines, but the whole experience was good. Most of the people I met were great. I felt like I was in charge of what I was doing for my work, I knew what I was doing (most of the time). And I particularly enjoyed my time with my TWC and MPW group mates. Funny how this two are the crappiest mod we were ever forced to take (other than BGS) yet I enjoyed the project meetings so much. The girls from TWC were all outspoken, fun, and on the same wavelength. I find myself in no hurry to finish the project quickly so that I could get home early. And I enjoyed the company of my fellow MPWians. Although they were people I knew before but I never really had the chance to get to know them better.
Haha... hmm suddenly got a call from someone special and decided that the news I received is more worthy of blogging. Bloomberg called me for an interview tomorrow! For those who don't know, I applied for an internship with Bloomberg on Saturday night and they called me this afternoon to ask me some questions about when I'm graduating, why I want to work for Bloomberg etc. Then when I reach home and was typing the above paragraph halfway, the guy called me again and scheduled me for an interview tomorrow!
The reason why I am so excited is because Bloomberg is a really prestigious company. The job scope covers learning about financial markets and selling financial products to clients. My dream job! And what's more, they are actually paying an allowance of 1.8k!!! This would just look damn good on my resume next time if I really do get this. Man I am so freaking nervous now. My hair is so dumb, and the competition is intense. I am praying hard for a miracle. Anyway, as I've told Tash and a few others, if I get the job, I'll do 10 good deeds and go vegetarian (semi) for a month!
Alright think I'm relatively calmer now. Can you believe I was actually jumping and whoosing for joy after I got the call? And the position is not even confirmed yet. Hahaha shows how badly I want this...
