Went to watch

with Shawn to lend Jess some support as well to see how well our E-mix dancers are. Not too bad I would say but I think their talents do not stop just at dancing. I mean, the whole production felt more like a play! Not complaining, not complaining coz that made it more entertaining I suppose. And anyway I realise I have more friends involved (onstage and backstage) in the show than I realise.

Later on, decided to check out how true the bad reviews had been for

It really wasn't too bad. I know a lot of people hates M Night Shyamalan and thinks that he's just going downhill after 6th sense. But somehow I feel that people are expecting him to create something WOW and similar to 6th sense but failed to see that he was just trying to create something simplistic, different and meaningful in his shows. I'm not ashamed to admit I enjoyed Signs and The Village, and now, Lady in the Water. Yes, Lady in the Water was pretty predictable for me and someone claimed that The Village was predictable for him but movies ain't all about the twist and some twists ain't about how they caught you off guard. It's about how the ending fit into the hints they drop u at the beginning like a beautiful puzzle. And movies are also about the emotions they invoke in you. I think what M Night was trying to create weren't blockbusters, but rather a depiction of human strengths and weaknesses. Maybe I am seeing things but that's how I see it really.

Went KTVing with ZJ, Yan, KG, Tapoot and Nic at Katong. Good place to KTV. Their songs are as well equipped as K-box or partyworld, comparable sound system and cozy rooms but yet very very cheap. $50 for 4hours on a Sunday night and drinks are charged at $1/can!

And here's when I have a confession to make to the world. Some of my closest friends may already have heard this but I'll just say it again for the record:

"Lee Hom is MINE!!!"

Yep that's our baby :)
