Hello! I've been disappearing for quite some time huh? That's because I've been really busy. Everyday after work I've been meeting people for dinner. Monday I met my parents and went to Tiong Bahhru Market to eat. Haven't been there since last year when I went with the SMU gang after IE class. Love the ambience and the food.

Tuesday I met the BF for dinner and movie. We watched a brainless show of 28 Weeks Later at the Cathay with my free vouchers. But to be honest I quite enjoyed it coz it's gory and brainless and I watched with negative expectations haha.

Wednesday I met ZJ wanting to watch The Wind That Shakes the Barley but ended up going to AMK Botak Jones with his GF to eat with KG, Kane, Tapoot and Ricky. The food is okay okay only leh. Don't know what's the big hoo ha about. No doubt the servings are big. I only ordered the single patty and I was stuffed. But taste wise it's just normal. Maybe I'm not good at appreciating this sort of American Junk Food.

Thursday I met up with the SMU gang at Tonkichi to celebrate the BF's birthday. Once again, the food is so so only. It too comes in big servings. It's starting to make me wonder if Singaporeans are becoming food bins. Like just stuff yourself crazy with all kinds of garbage as long as it fills your tummy to the point of bursting. But to be fair to Tonkichi, the food was well-cooked but not good enough to justify $20+ for a bowl of rice and a big piece of deep-fried pork fillet.

Anyway, yesterday I finally had a proper celebration with the BF. I bought him tix to catch A Midsummer Night's Dream at Fort Canning Park. I whipped up a few dishes to picnic at the show. I made broccoli salad and shepherd's pie which the BF really like and which I believe he is still craving for now heh so I presume my culinary skills ain't too bad. I also bought muffins from Amoy but we were too full to eat. Now it's happily in his family's tummy. Yay muffins point for me!

Here's how the pie looks. I'm sorry for the poor quality but it was dark and my camera flash doesn't capture things very well.

Later on, we went back to his place to retrieve the car and went to watch Pirates of the Caribbean! Very funny show and I enjoyed it very much (although I dozed off several times!. It was a 1.55am show which ended at 4.40am and I've been up since the morning before at 7am so you can't fault me for being tired right?)

Lastly, I know it's a lil belated here but I'd like to make a dedication...

Happy Birthday P****! (censored because he doesn't want people to know what I call him by) It's been great times with you. Now that you're 24 years old [oldoldoldoldoldoldold :)], you should learn to be less childish and be more like your intelligent other half. In any case, hope you enjoyed the birthday plan I had for you. And the Braun Buffel wallet I got for you. Please please please use it. No point keeping it to mould. Okay nagging stops here.

Oh before I sign off, would like to show you the present my 2nd bro bought for me from Disneyland:

A Mickey Mouse mug!

p.s: GSS has begun!!
